We were able to try the dinner and I can 100% vouch that Misto, as always, does not disappoint.

We started with an Amuse-Bouche of Salmon Avocado in Balsamic Glaze as a palate cleanser, followed by a Pear, Arugula, Lollo Rosa, Walnut & Blue Cheese Salad. I really liked the taste and texture the walnut brought to the salad. The amuse-bouche was paired with the crisp and sparking Rosé. I especially liked this drink best.

Afterwhich, we were served with the Wild Mushroom with Truffle Oil soup. It was served with a parmesan-crusted bread that paired well with the soup. Another palate cleanser was served in the form of the Honey Calamansi Sorbet.

The main dish was incredibly delicious. They served us Pan-Seared Salmon with Lemon Butter Prawn Sauce & Saffron Asparagus Rice. Because I’m allergic, I enjoyed this main dish with my ever-trusty Cetirizine prepared. I loved the taste, though! The salmon was perfect with the butter prawn sauce and the asparagus and saffron rice just perfectly complemented it.

If you’re worried about allergies, Misto has an alternative main dish in the form of the sinfully delicious Slow-cooked Angus Roast Beef Short Plate. It melts in your mouth and the juicy meat is just…. *chef’s kiss*

After the main dish we were served with three desserts: The Apricot & Orange Mousse, the Blueberry Crème Brûlée, and the Strawberry Trifle Chocolate Cake. I personally prefer the Crème Brûlée. The desserts were paired with D’vine South African White Wine, which was a bit too sweet for my taste but paired well with the desserts.

Overall, spending your #ValentinesAtSeda will definitely be worth it and make #Valentines2020AtSeda more memorable.
