Paranthe Wali Gali: Heaven For Foodies In The Heart Of Delhi

In the narrow by-lanes of the crowded Chandi Chowk area of Delhi, exists a street famous for its paratha, a thin fried Indian bread. With 3-star hotels in Delhi easily available nowadays, tourism is thriving all over the city and here is a highlight of the famous ParantheWaliGali:

• History: Located in one of the oldest markets of the city, the history of this famous lane goes back to the time of the Mughals. The lane has a sequence of paratha shops one after another serving some of the best parathas you can’t get anywhere else. The first of these shops were set up way back in 1870 and is still running today.
