Millenium Hotels and Resorts Launch a New Loyalty Programme – My Millennium

On Tuesday Millennium Hotels launched their new Loyalty Programme – My MillenniumMyMillennium

My Millennium features three tiers Club (Entry Level) , Premium (8 Nights of 15,000 Points) and Elite (20 Nights or 40,000 Points).

On Room Spend You will earn 10 Points per $1 for Club Members and 15 Points per $1 for Premium and Elite Members

On Other Charges all tiers earn 5 Points per $1

All members will receive Exclusive Rates that are guaranteed to be cheaper than any other channel and free WiFi in participating hotels.

Premium and Elite members will also receive:

Two upgrade vouchers valid for an upgrade to a Club Room (Premium) or Suite (Elite)

Early Check in from 10am

Welcome Drink

Discount on Food and Beverage Bill (15% Premium and 20% Elite)

25% off fully flexible rate with breakfast for your birthday.

Finally Elite members will also get:

A free night if you stay in 10 different hotels

Late Check Out till 4pm

Free Local Calls

Executive Club Lounge Access

You can spend your points on Free Nights but also on Food and Drink Credit (12,000 Points = $30 which values a point at around 1/4 of a cent so represents a 2% rebate to a Club level member)

Other redemption offers include Spa Treatments (20,000 Points) Laundry (12,000 Points) and Broadband which says you can enjoy Free Access then asks for 6,000 Points (So not very free)

There is a bit of confusion here with these details coming from the Millennium Hotels Website Here however when looking at details of the program I have come across articles such as this one saying that the new program is single tier, simple and built on experiences – something that this program definitely isn’t. I will update when I have more information and can tell what is going on.
