Hotel Review: Hyatt Regency- Orlando, FL

So recently I decided to stay at a hotel in Orlando for the weekend with a friend and we chose the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress which is located near the Disney parks. This hotel is really great and I 100% recommend it to anyone coming to the Orlando area.

Not only is the hotel near the parks, but it also has a lot of things to do on the property itself. Activities include: a golf course, tennis & racquet club, fitness center, yoga classes, bicycles including a trail on the property itself you can ride along, and various water sports including; kayaking, water bicycles, paddle boards, and more. There is also a pool with various waterfalls and waterslides for kids. For those looking for a more relaxing stay, there is also the Marilyn Monroe Spa.

This hotel also offers babysitting services and has pet-friendly rooms available for those with babies or fur babies!

The rooms are spacious and clean and I recommend spending a little extra and getting a room with a balcony so you can enjoy standing out there and breathing some fresh air (balconies in hotels are actually one of my favorite things, it’s very relaxing.)

The hotel features a few different bars including one that is poolside and one in the hotel lobby and also has the famous Hemingway’s restaurant. We went ahead and splurged for the breakfast buffet and though it is a bit pricey, it was totally worth it.

The hotel itself is very large and well-kept and I definitely think it’s a great value for the money you pay. It’s the type of hotel you could spend the whole day enjoying rather than just going to the room to sleep.

I like to book my hotel stays on the website Hotels.com because for every 10 nights you book with them, you get a credit worth the average of your 10 nights combined. I actually used my hotel credit for this stay and ended up only paying $19 for the night.
