Hong Kong – Shama Central Stay

Located in the heart of SoHo, Shama Central was a comfortable and convenient stay in the city for us for two nights. Strategically placed in the hub of Central District, the hotel was only a short walk from a multitude of bars, lounges, restaurants and just 10 minutes away from two subway stations – perfect for an easy connect to the airport onto the next destination.

The room itself – we rented the studio serviced apartment – was surprisingly spacious and adequately clean, albeit people seem to complain about noise level coming from the very lively Peel Street, it was no problem for heavy sleepers such as ourselves. Bathroom was also in good conditions, with fairly new appliances and notably nice shower/hair products (shout-out to the great-tasting toothpaste :D ). We didn’t have time to make use of the kitchen but it seemed well equipped as well and relatively modern (plus cookbook available!).

Overall, considering our last minute booking, our stay was a great deal in the heart of Hong Kong, with fair prices compared to similar accommodations in the same dates. Check in and out was easy and efficient, as was the staff. Would recommend to anyone looking to explore Hong Kong’s most fun area (especially for some good old bar hopping!).
